The Guest Relation Agent is a key ambassador for the hotel and the Anantara brand. Memorizing names of the customers or addressing them with the correct salutations, such as "Miss", "Sir", "Ma'am" or "Senator." To meets and greets arriving guests and bids them farewell as they leave. He or she reviews the arrival list daily and assists in preparing and distributing welcome amenities. GROs escort VIPs to their rooms and check them in before their arrival. Always be present in the hotel lobby and should maintain proper decorum at all times. Key duties and responsibilities: To have a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets and promotions, spa and health club, and other Anantara properties. Daily Front Office procedures; assigning guests rooms, sending flowers and fruit baskets, printing and sending of welcome letters, communication with the guests, handling guests complaints, Supporting of Front Office operations, assistance to MOD (Manager on Duty) in handling all the daily activities, rate confirmations for the guest, special treatment for VIP Operation of Check-in and accommodating the guests and Cashier operations: posting room and F&B outlets charges, settling the bill, everyday communication with Accounts department regarding corporate guests bills and methods of payment Qualifications – Guest Relations Agent Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field. Previous experience in Guest Relations, Front Office, Concierge, or a similar guest-facing role in a luxury hotel is preferred. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, including check-in/check-out, room assignment, cashiering, billing, payment methods, and guest account handling. Excellent knowledge of hotel products and services, including room categories, rates, facilities, restaurants, promotions, spa, and sister properties. Strong guest service and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with VIPs, corporate guests, and international travelers. Strong problem-solving and complaint-handling skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Strong attention to detail, particularly in guest preferences, billing, room assignments, special requests, and VIP arrangements. Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple guest requests and operational tasks simultaneously. Computer literate and familiar with PMS, Front Office systems, POS, and basic MS Office applications. Not the right fit?
