About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior People Business Partner to join our People team in Thailand.
As a trusted advisor to business leaders, you will play a pivotal role in driving organisational performance through strategic HR partnership, employee engagement, talent development, organisational effectiveness, and change management. You will partner closely with local, regional, and global stakeholders to deliver people solutions that enable business success while fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture.
This role is particularly suited to a senior HR professional with strong knowledge of Thai employment legislation and proven experience navigating organisational transformation, including post-merger integration and change initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with business leaders to drive people strategies that support business objectives and organisational performance.
- Provide expert coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and organisational effectiveness.
- Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace issue resolution while ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organisational design, change management, leadership capability, and team effectiveness.
- Analyse people metrics and workforce trends to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
- Partner with regional Centres of Excellence in Talent Acquisition, Learning, Reward, and Employee Experience to deliver integrated people solutions.
- Collaborate on compensation and benefits initiatives, including annual salary reviews, benchmarking, and reward programmes.
- Ensure compliance with Thailand labour laws, employment regulations, and HR governance requirements while proactively managing legislative changes and business impacts.
- Lead and support people-related activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, organisational transformations, and business integration initiatives.
- Drive post-merger integration efforts, including organisational design, workforce transition planning, employee communications, talent retention, and cultural alignment.
- Champion a high-performance culture that reflects company values and promotes employee engagement and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Significant HR experience, including several years in a Senior HR Business Partner or HR leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Thailand employment legislation, labour regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proven experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, and organisational transformation programmes.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business strategy into people solutions.
- Demonstrated success influencing and advising senior leaders in a complex business environment.
- Extensive experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Broad HR expertise across organisational development, talent management, performance management, reward, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
- Experience working within a multinational, matrixed organisation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
