Position Summary:

The Finance Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Company's strategic growth and investment activities across its Real Estate, Hospitality, Retail, and Food & Beverage businesses.

The role is responsible for developing financial models, evaluating investment opportunities, conducting business and financial analysis, supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), fundraising, capital allocation, and strategic projects. Working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams, the Analyst provides commercial and financial insights that support investment decisions, business expansion, and long-term value creation.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Planning

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for acquisitions, business expansion, new developments, capital projects, and strategic investments.
  • Perform financial valuation using appropriate methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Company Analysis, and other accepted valuation techniques.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, investment analysis, and financial due diligence for new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate investment returns, financial risks, and business assumptions using metrics such as IRR, NPV, ROI, Payback Period, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Analyze different investment scenarios and recommend optimal financial structures.
  • Prepare investment memorandums, business cases, and financial presentations for management, investors, and lenders.

Transaction & Deal Execution

  • Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A), fundraising, refinancing, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial information required for negotiations, due diligence, and transaction execution.
  • Coordinate with external advisors including investment banks, financial advisors, auditors, legal advisors, lenders, and consultants throughout transaction processes.
  • Support deal structuring, financial analysis, and transaction documentation.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Financial Planning & Business Performance

  • Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
  • Analyze financial performance across business units and identify key drivers affecting profitability and business performance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with meaningful financial insights.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend actions to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units.
  • Monitor capital expenditure and investment performance against approved business cases.

Business Analytics & Commercial Insights

  • Analyze operational and financial KPIs to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop management dashboards and business intelligence reports.
  • Transform financial and operational data into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate commercial performance and improve business profitability.
  • Support strategic planning by providing data-driven analysis and market insights.

Process Improvement & Technology

  • Develop and enhance financial models, reporting tools, and analytical frameworks.
  • Utilize AI technologies and automation tools to improve productivity, financial analysis, and reporting efficiency.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives related to finance, reporting, and business analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in corporate finance and financial analytics.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Deal Advisory, Valuation, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Management Consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including integrated three-statement models, investment models, and scenario analysis.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, capital budgeting, and investment principles.
  • Experience in feasibility studies, investment evaluation, business cases, and financial due diligence.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to understand business operations and identify value creation opportunities.
  • Proven ability to prepare high-quality investment presentations, board papers, business plans, and management reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools is an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of AI tools and automation technologies to improve productivity and business analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
