Assistant IT Manager

- Assist in managing IT teams including infrastructure, software, and support staff
- Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects with clear timelines and deliverables
- Ensure deadlines are set, tracked, and achieved across teams
- Support and guide both technical and programming staff
- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional departments
- Participate in strategic IT planning and operational improvements
- Drive adoption of AI tools and modern technologies within the team
- Travel to factories to oversee implementations and provide support

- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and project management capabilities
- Ability to manage people, motivate teams, and resolve conflicts
- Solid understanding of software, coding, hardware, and networking concepts
- Ability to manage schedules, priorities, and cross-team coordination
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and productivity
- Willingness to travel to factory locations
- Willingness to learn new skills and be proactive in professional development
Additional Requirements (Enhanced for This Role)
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure
- Basic to intermediate cybersecurity awareness (data protection, access control, risk)
- Good understanding of business processes and ability to align IT with business goals
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or structured approaches)
- Ability to produce clear documentation, SOPs, and structured reports
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
- Leadership experience with technical or IT teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with upper management and stakeholders
- Capability to support both infrastructure and software development teams
Preferred Profile
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations or project management
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Experience in multi-site or industrial (factory) environments is a plus
