Operational Risk Management (Urgently Required)

  • Support the implementation of Operational Risk Management policies, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure effective risk management aligned with the company’s risk appetite.
  • Monitor and assess operational risks using various risk management tools to detect early warning signs and ensure timely mitigation and control implementation.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, measuring, and monitoring operational risks, as well as supporting related risk management initiatives.
  • Review and advise relevant stakeholders on operational risk issues to ensure risks are adequately mitigated within the required timeframe.
  • Analyze operational risk data to identify trends and propose timely, effective risk mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate with operational risk coordinators and business units on all matters related to operational risk.
  • Act as a liaison with the Bank’s Operational Risk Management team to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to raise awareness and understanding of operational risk management across all employee levels.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably in Consumer Finance or Hire Purchase businesses.
  • Solid understanding of organizational processes, internal controls, relevant regulations, and risk/audit frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel upcountry as required.
