Job Purpose

The Junior System Engineer / Infrastructure Developer is responsible for executing routine infrastructure server operations, application deployment, and basic security maintenance across both On-Premise and Cloud (AWS) environments. This role focuses on ensuring server stability and supporting development teams during deployments. The ideal candidate will possess foundational knowledge of Linux, Java, and infrastructure security, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to standard operational procedures through on-the-job training.

Job Description :

• Deploy application packages to servers, copy/move files, and monitor log files to ensure successful deployment.
• Provide standby support and monitor server performance/logs during scheduled deployment windows.
• Assist in reviewing, analyzing, and remediating Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Testing (Pentest) scan results.
• Manage, renew, and install SSL certificates for various servers and Apache Tomcat instances to ensure secure connections.

• Maintain and support infrastructure environments spanning both On-Premise data centers and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot basic Linux shell scripts or batch files to automate routine operational tasks.
• Assist in writing or modifying application logic using Java to support system integrations or batch processing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 2 years of experience in System Administration, DevOps, or Infrastructure support.
• Familiarity with Java programming and Linux Shell Scripting (Bash/Batch).
• Good command of Linux/Unix environments and basic command-line operations (e.g., file manipulation, reading logs, process management).
• Basic understanding of Apache Tomcat or similar Java web application servers.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, etc.), is a strong plus.

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, particularly SSL/TLS certificates and configuration.

• Highly motivated to learn new technologies and follow operational guidelines.

• Good analytical skills to troubleshoot basic system and script errors.
