Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience more than 7 years in electrical systems management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineering License (ใบ ก.ว.) will be considered an advantage.

Job PurposePlan, supervise, and monitor all electrical maintenance, reliability, and SAP activities to maximize plant availability while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. The role is responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of the plant's electrical infrastructure, supporting continuous production, minimizing equipment downtime, and leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

The position oversees critical electrical assets, including:

  • 24 kV MEA power system
  • 24 kV switchgears (2 units)
  • 3,000 kVA transformers (2 units)
  • LT switchgear (4,000A)
  • MDB/MCC panels (14 units)
  • LV motors (426 units)
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) (88 units)
  • Diesel Generator (DG) sets (2 units)
  • Fire alarm system
  • Hoists and elevators
  • CCTV system
  • AI-based monitoring systems

Key Job Challenges

  • Ensure the reliable, efficient, and safe operation of all MV (24 kV) and LT (380 V) electrical systems in a continuous-process plant with limited equipment redundancy and minimal opportunities for preventive maintenance.
  • Lead and develop the electrical maintenance team to safely operate and maintain complex electrical systems, where any equipment failure can result in a complete production shutdown.
  • Minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize plant availability through effective preventive, predictive, and reliability maintenance strategies.
  • Improve the reliability and performance of ageing electrical assets while maintaining uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Execute maintenance activities and plant shutdowns safely, on schedule, and within the approved budget.
  • Manage annual maintenance of substation equipment and other critical electrical infrastructure.
  • Ensure the reliability of critical production equipment, including automatic, semi-automatic, and manual packing machines, as well as furnaces.

Key Result Areas1. Preventive Maintenance & Plant Operations

  • Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance through SAP PM.
  • Maximize plant availability by minimizing equipment breakdowns and improving electrical system reliability.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage maintenance schedules, shutdown activities, and daily work allocation.
  • Improve equipment reliability through condition-based maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate closely with Production and other departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Planning, Budgeting & Cost Control
  • Prepare and manage the annual electrical maintenance budget.
  • Monitor maintenance costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Optimize spare parts inventory and procurement activities.
  • Develop and evaluate vendors to improve cost efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Support plant modification projects while minimizing production downtime.
  • Safety, Environment & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001/OHSAS requirements and company safety standards.
  • Implement LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), Work Permit, and other safe work practices.
  • Maintain zero accidents and zero non-conformities.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and availability of safety equipment.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and PPE compliance.
  • Engineering Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead electrical installation, modification, commissioning, and startup projects.
  • Prepare technical specifications, MOC documentation, and equipment evaluations.
  • Coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.
  • Documentation, Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports and maintenance performance reports.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and audit compliance.
  • Implement WCM, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, QCC, and other continuous improvement programs.
  • Track KPIs and monitor improvement projects.
  • Legal & Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory inspections and government regulations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain legal documentation for electrical systems, cranes, hoists, elevators, and related equipment.
  • People Management & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop the electrical maintenance team.
  • Prepare annual training and competency development plans.
  • Conduct technical and on-the-job training.
  • Monitor team performance, skill gaps, safety behavior, attendance, and overtime.
  • Build a high-performing team through coaching, succession planning, and employee engagement.
