We are looking for an Assembly Engineer who has working experience as an assembly engineer or technician to join our company. This role will be responsible for managing the entire inspection and configuration workflows for technical team.

The Assembly Engineer should be familiar with hardware assembly and configuration methods. You should also have basic knowledge in electronics and/or system processing to support the pace at which our technical team operate.

We move fast and are looking for a person who is self-driven to find the fastest, most efficient ways to solve complex problems related to IT hardware for providing the best solutions.

• Manage and maintain the assembly equipment portion of the project including solution designs, equipment fabrication, tryout materials, and launch support
• Initialize and configure QNAP products complying with custom solutions and requirements
• Inspect and replace all faulty units and/or non-working parts with available equipment to ensure availability
• Responsible for all installation processing with additional components and test for materials compatibility
• Plans, coordinates, and executes the activities involved with the assembly equipment and tools through the launch of the equipment in the business unit
• Liaise with warehouse and logistics department to manage timely shipping
• Interface with all internal departments to ensure they are kept up to date on the assembly equipment and tool status and the timely tryouts
• Maintenance and replacement of PCB and parts on PCB
• Participate in tech and project reviews with the team
• Take up other job assigned by head of technical team

• Male, Age 25 years and above
• Vocational school, diploma or higher graduate in Computer Engineering, Electronics or any relates fields
• Having good knowledge of computer and/or electronics devices
• Ability to maintain and replace PCB parts
• At least 1-2 years working experience in assembly or repairing computers or any other electronics devices would be a plus
• Good command of Linux is preferred but not necessary
• Ability to work with soldiering and heat glues
• Self-driven and high responsible
• Detail-oriented
• Good problem solving skill
• Can work well under tight deadlines
