Assistant to Group CEO
atWSOL (Sabuy Technology And Sabuy Money) Public CompanyThe Assistant to Group CEO will partner with the Group CEO to drive business performance, investment discipline, strategic growth, and enterprise risk management across the Group. This role will orchestrate cross-functional teams to convert strategy into measurable business results, identify and execute new growth opportunities, and ensure that key investment and corporate decisions are made with appropriate financial, operational, legal, and governance oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Business Performance Management
- Monitor, analyze, and follow up on business performance across all business units against approved plans, budgets, KPIs, and strategic priorities.
- Lead performance-review mechanisms and ensure timely corrective actions for revenue, profitability, cash flow, operational efficiency, and strategic-project gaps.
- Challenge assumptions, identify root causes of underperformance, and work with Business Unit Heads to develop and execute recovery plans.
- Provide concise, decision-focused performance insights and recommendations to the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors.
- Investment and Capital Allocation
- Lead the investment evaluation and decision-making process for new businesses, strategic projects, acquisitions, partnerships, and major capital expenditures.
- Ensure investment proposals include robust financial analysis, commercial rationale, risk assessment, implementation plan, return thresholds, and post-investment monitoring.
- Establish investment governance, including investment criteria, approval workflows, investment committee materials, and post-investment reviews.
- Optimize capital allocation across the Group to prioritize investments that strengthen profitability, cash generation, and long-term enterprise value.
- Strategic Growth and Business Synergy
- Orchestrate business, investment, finance, and strategy teams to identify, assess, and execute new growth opportunities.
- Drive collaboration across business units to create commercial, customer, technology, operational, and cost synergies.
- Support Business Unit Heads in developing scalable business models, turnaround plans, and growth roadmaps.
- Lead selected strategic initiatives from concept through execution, with clear milestones, ownership, risk controls, and measurable outcomes.
- Business Transformation and Reengineering
- Lead business reengineering and operating-model improvement initiatives to increase productivity, simplify processes, reduce costs, and strengthen accountability.
- Review organizational structures, operating processes, and resource allocation to ensure they remain fit for the Group's strategy and financial objectives.
- Promote data-driven decision-making, strong performance discipline, and effective execution across the organization.
- Enterprise Risk, Legal, and Governance Oversight
- Ensure appropriate identification, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of financial, operational, investment, and corporate legal risks.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business leaders to strengthen internal controls and risk-management practices.
- Ensure that major business and investment decisions comply with applicable laws, regulations, delegated authority, corporate policies, and listed-company governance requirements.
- Support preparation of strategic, investment, and risk matters for management, Board, and Board Committee consideration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment, strategy, business transformation, consulting, or senior business management.
- Proven experience in evaluating and executing investment decisions, business cases, M&A, partnerships, restructuring, or large-scale strategic projects.
- Strong corporate-finance capability, including valuation, financial modelling, capital allocation, funding, cash-flow management, and investment return analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in business reengineering, performance improvement, turnaround, or operating-model transformation.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, corporate governance, Board processes, delegated authority, and risk management within a listed-company environment.
- Experience working with or presenting to a Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Investment Committee, or senior executive leadership team.
- Commercially minded, highly results-oriented, and able to balance growth ambition with financial discipline and risk management.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Able to lead through influence across multiple business units and functions in a complex group structure.
- Excellent Thai and English communication skills, including executive-level presentation and Board-paper preparation.
