Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities for both local and overseas suppliers, covering raw materials, fragrance ingredients, packaging materials, imported goods, finished goods, and related business supplies.

Develop and improve procurement policies, procedures, approval workflows, supplier records, and purchasing documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and readiness for internal audit / IPO requirements.

Ensure continuous material availability to support production, new product launches, sales, distribution operations, and overall business continuity.

Manage key procurement parameters including lead time, MOQ, safety stock, delivery schedule, import timeline, supplier capacity, and supply risk.

Work closely with Demand & Supply Planning, Production, R&D, Warehouse, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align procurement plans with business needs, production plans, sales forecasts, and new product development timelines.

Source, evaluate, negotiate, and develop suppliers both locally and internationally to ensure competitive cost, quality standards, reliable delivery, and long-term supply continuity.

Establish and monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, responsiveness, cost competitiveness, service level, compliance, and risk management.

Drive cost-saving and cost-control initiatives through supplier negotiation, alternative sourcing, price benchmarking, contract review, MOQ / lead time optimization, and value improvement projects.

Support new product development by sourcing suitable raw materials, fragrance components, packaging materials, and suppliers that meet quality, cost, timeline, and brand requirements.

Manage procurement risks and develop contingency plans for critical materials, key suppliers, imported goods, and high-risk supply items to prevent disruption to production and sales.

Ensure purchasing documents, quotations, price comparisons, approvals, contracts, supplier master data, and related records are accurate, complete, traceable, and compliant with company policies.

Lead, coach, and develop the Purchasing team to improve working standards, negotiation skills, supplier follow-up, documentation accuracy, service level, and overall team performance.

Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance updates, cost-saving reports, and key purchasing analysis for management review and decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, Science, or related fields.

At least 7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain, with team management experience.

Experience in manufacturing and distribution businesses is highly preferred.

Background in fragrance, cosmetics, skincare, personal care, beauty, FMCG, food, consumer goods, packaging, or related manufacturing industries will be an advantage.

Strong experience in sourcing raw materials, packaging materials, imported goods, and supplier management.

Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, cost negotiation, purchasing control, approval workflow, and procurement documentation.

Good understanding of lead time, MOQ, safety stock, inventory management, demand-supply planning, import purchasing, and supply risk management.

Experience in procurement process improvement, supplier performance management, cost-saving projects, or internal control will be an advantage.

Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional communication skills.

Able to work in a fast-growing business environment and manage both operational tasks and process improvement.

Proficient in Excel and ERP / purchasing-related systems.

High integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and good business judgment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experienced in procurement for manufacturing businesses with direct exposure to raw materials, packaging, supplier management, and production support.

Able to balance cost, quality, lead time, brand requirements, and supply continuity.

Hands-on, structured, and able to improve procurement processes while managing day-to-day purchasing operations.

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and communicating with management.

Able to help build a more transparent, scalable, and audit-ready procurement function to support the company's long-term growth and IPO preparation.
