With research stations located all over the world, Enza Zaden is able to breed vegetable varieties for local growing conditions. To extend our activities in Thailand we are looking for a Jr. Researcher Phytopathology. You will coordinate our phytopathology activities in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

• With research stations located all over the world, Enza Zaden is able to breed vegetable varieties for local growing conditions. To extend our activities in Thailand we are looking for a Jr. Researcher Phytopathology. You will coordinate our phytopathology activities in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
• You will conduct field experiments for disease testing, using both natural and artificial screening methods of fungal, bacterial, viral and nematode diseases.
• Furthermore you will maintain sick fields for soil borne disease screening. You will work independently but also in close contact with international colleagues, especially with pathologists for data collection, protocols and know-how.
• Your power
• You have at least a master degree in plant pathology, combined with experience in vegetable crop diseases. You work very accurately, resulting in precise disease screening and diagnosis. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to function well in an international team.
• For this purpose it is also important that you are able to communicate clearly and fluently in English. The research facilities at this location are in development and require someone with an entrepreneurial and practical attitude.
