Warehouse Specialist (Food business)

- Warehouse Operations Management
Establish working guidelines and work process for warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns
Ensure proper space utilization and warehouse layout optimization
Warehouse manpower planning, productivity, shift setting, and others
Ensure FIFO/FEFO implementation for all food products
Reduce damage, expiries, and product losses
- Inventory & Supply Chain Control
Identify ways to minimize replenishment
Analyze slow-moving, aging, and obsolete inventory
Support demand planning and stock availability improvement
- Food Safety & Compliance
Ensure warehouse comply with food safety standards
Maintain GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and local regulatory compliance
Lead warehouse hygiene programs
Support internal and external audits
- Team Leadership & Development
Lead warehouse supervisors and operational teams
Develop SOPs and working standards
Coach and train staff on safety, warehouse discipline, and operational excellence
Build high-performance culture and succession planning
Coordinate cross-functionally with procurement, planning, QA, production, and sales teams
- Continuous Improvement
Lead process improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Implement Lean/WMS/automation initiatives where applicable
Analyze operational data and drive corrective actions
Improve service levels and operational productivity
Qualification Requirements
Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field Master's degree is an advantage
Location: Significant on-site engagement and regular travel are essential for overseeing regional operational facilities throughout Thailand. Candidates may be based at headquarters, or in the Eastern regions.
Experience 5–10 years experience in warehouse operations
Experience in food, FMCG, beverage, frozen, chilled, or cold-chain business
Strong experience managing warehouse operations
Experience handling large-scale inventory and distribution operations
Experience working on improvement projects
Required Skills
Experience managing 3PL providers
ERP/TMS/WMS implementation experience
Multi-site warehouse experience
Technical Competencies
Inventory management and stock control
Cold-chain logistics management
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Skills required
