About the role

Belton Industrial (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Coil Winding Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team on a full-time basis in Pathum Thani. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and optimisation of coil winding processes and systems. As a Coil Winding Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the precision, efficiency, and quality of coil winding operations that are fundamental to our manufacturing capabilities. Key responsibilities

Understanding material properties for specific applications HDD business .Create and test materials with unique properties.

• Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting of coil winding processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvement solutions

• Study mechanical,thermal,and chemical properties to ensure compliance with standards.

• Improve process methods to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

• Oversee the selection and maintenance of coil winding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance

• Work with team engineers,production ,and quality teams to integrate materials into produc improvement

• Support the development of new coil designs and winding techniques to enhance product performance

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding equipment specifications and technical requirements

• Maintain comprehensive technical records and documentation for continuous process improvement

• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff on coil winding best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with coil winding design, development, or manufacturing processes

• Strong knowledge of coil winding technologies, materials, and winding techniques across various applications

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and engineering analysis tools

• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and manufacturing processes

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality and accuracy standards

• Experience with quality management systems and process optimisation methodologies

• Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies in coil winding and manufacturing

• Preferred experience: Knowledge of electrical properties relevant to coil applications, experience with automation systems, or familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
