What you will do:

• Develop data modeling pipelines that bridge the enterprise and the analytics data layers including scalable data marts and other automation tools to empower the Data Analytics capabilities

• Develop other in-house analytics solutions for internal teams, including building simple web applications that take the analytics prototypes either to internal use by wider audiences or to enhance the core product platforms

• Evaluate and implement Big Data ecosystems/infrastructures mainly for analytics purpose e.g. Spark, NoSQL, Graph databases, etc.

• Help improve front-end data tracking for the company’s websites and mobile apps to better understand user behaviors

• Facilitate some simple data queries/extraction that help business operations

• Research for feasible data technologies that could be useful for the business

• Collaborate and learn together by sharing findings with and provide guidance to other teams

• Business Intelligence tools for data democratisation

• Backend services development

• Machine Learning engineering

• A strong intent to help us strengthen data analytics products and solve business problems from the foundational stage using data engineering expertise

• Significant experience in implementing ETL pipelines with large and complex data dependencies

• Hands-on experience in Big Data engineering and some web development backgrounds

• Proficiency in complex SQL and Python

• Some technical knowledge in front-end data tracking for websites or mobile apps

• Ability to understand business problems analytically, bounce ideas, and communicate technical progress

• Intermediate fluency in English
