Hardware Reliability Engineer, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, other Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in hardware reliability engineering in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Experience in environmental stress chamber testing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with JMP or ReliaSoft packages or other reliability data analysis tools.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering techniques including derating, DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test), and ORT (Ongoing Reliability Test).

Responsibilities
- Act as the reliability focal point for manufacturing partners.
- Drive the implementation of machine learning related product reliability tests and assessments at partner sites, lead the process improvement initiatives, and provide technical guidelines for reliability lab expansion or relocation.
- Translate product availability and reliability requirements into test plans to enable comprehensive reliability assessments throughout the product life cycle.
- Lead and collaborate with the internal and external engineering teams to ensure failure analysis is conducted in a timely manner.
