About the role

Supervisor role in the Hydrated Lime Production Department responsible for overseeing production operations, machinery, and team performance to ensure continuous, efficient output and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive raw materials (lime lumps) and prepare them for use in production

• Control the quantity and quality of products to meet specified standards

• Report problems to the supervisor and make accurate, timely decisions to resolve on-site issues

• Control machine operation to ensure production runs continuously

• Maintain machinery, and carry out inspections and basic preventive maintenance

• Control and identify production approaches to achieve efficient, maximum output

• Control, manage, and report silo levels to the supervisor, keeping all levels balanced and appropriate

• Oversee standard systems and supervise subordinates to ensure duties are performed in compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field

• Vocational Certificate (High) in Mechanics, Electrical, Industrial Production, Computer, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the industry / lime production

• Good command of English - reads and writes well; fair listening and speaking

• Fair proficiency in using computers and standard software

• Good foundational calculation skills

• Good personality and interpersonal skills; works well in a team

• Diligent and responsible

• Leadership qualities

• Able to communicate clearly and accurately

• Able to work shifts and overtime
