• Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting of coil winding processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvement solutions.
• Study mechanical,thermal,and chemical properties to ensure compliance with standards.
• Improve process methods to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Oversee the selection and maintenance of coil winding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Work with team engineers,production,and quality teams to integrate materials into produc improvement.
• Support the development of new coil designs and winding techniques to enhance product performance.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding equipment specifications and technical requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive technical records and documentation for continuous process improvement.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff on coil winding best practices.
• What we're looking for.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with coil winding design, development, or manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of coil winding technologies, materials, and winding techniques across various applications.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and engineering analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high quality and accuracy standards.
• Experience with quality management systems and process optimisation methodologies.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies in coil winding and manufacturing.
• Preferred experience: Knowledge of electrical properties relevant to coil applications, experience with automation systems, or familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
