Under the general direction of the responsible officer in the Transport Research and Policy Section of the ESCAP Transport Division, the international consultant will be expected to collaborate, communicate and consult effectively with the project officer, national consultants, as well as the relevant departments of the other collaborating organizations on the project. 1. Produce a Toolkit Report for integrating Just Transition (especially gender) considerations into electric mobility workforce development and training, to support organizations and training institutions in implementing inclusive EV skills development. 2. Provide other related support as required, including the presentation of progress and findings at relevant workshops or events, if any.

Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications/special skills
A Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Economics, Transport Planning, Urban Development, or a relevant discipline. Experience in researching transport related topics in Asia and the Pacifc Demonstrated ability in writing reports on transport related topics in Asia and the Pacific Experience in coordination/assisting of meeting organization, handling correspondence and desk research Minimum 3 years of work experience related to transportation
Languages
Proficiency in English is required for this position.
