About our group:

The Characterization & Analytics (CAG) Group supports Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA) evaluation and quality verification at the Maturity Level 0 (M0/M1) stage, supporting new technology and new process development. The team works closely with Design, Manufacturing, USA, and the Korat Laboratory. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering experiments, data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.

About the role - you will:

• Design electrical and pneumatic circuits and perform basic engineering calculations for industrial equipment.

• Select electrical components in accordance with Seagate's SOP39 Safety Standard and project requirements.

• Create electrical and pneumatic diagrams for equipment development.

• Develop 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using engineering design software such as SolidWorks.

• Support Seagate's engineering document control process.

• Apply SOP39 safety requirements throughout equipment development projects.

About you:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of electrical circuit design and engineering principles.

• Familiarity with PLC programming.

• Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD design software.

• Basic understanding of electrical safety in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Eagerness to learn and apply engineering knowledge in a practical environment.

Your experience includes:

• Knowledge in International Finance Environment

• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, Macro, Formulas, V-look up)

• Experience working with Oracle and SAP S4/HANA

• Bachelors and/or equivalent experience
