About the role

This role involves reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, technical specifications and related engineering documents to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable standards and approved design criteria. You will review and coordinate civil design interfaces across wind power projects, and ensure technical requirements are properly communicated among internal engineering teams and external parties.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate civil design interfaces across wind power projects, and ensure technical requirements are properly communicated among internal engineering teams and external parties

• Manage and follow up on RFIs, technical queries and design clarifications, coordinating with designers, Owner's Engineers (OE), consultants and project teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues

• Provide civil engineering support to project teams for technical issues arising during construction and identify practical and technically compliant solutions

• Coordinate with designers, OE, suppliers, contractors and subcontractors on civil engineering matters, drawings, specifications, materials and technical submissions

• Review NCRs, construction deviations, repair proposals and corrective solutions, and coordinate with relevant engineering parties to ensure appropriate technical closure

• Provide technical support to procurement activities, including reviewing technical specifications, material requirements, supplier submissions and other civil-related technical documentation

• Support subcontractor technical evaluation and clarification, including review of relevant technical proposals, method statements, drawings and supporting documents

• Review civil engineering solutions with consideration of constructability, quality, cost, schedule and project risks

• Coordinate and control technical interfaces between civil works and other disciplines to minimize design conflicts and execution risks

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline

• Minimum 3 years of relevant civil engineering experience, preferably with a strong background in civil design, structural design, engineering consultancy, EPC engineering or technical engineering support

• Strong ability to review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentation

• Practical experience in handling RFI, technical clarification, design changes and engineering problem-solving

• Experience coordinating with designers, consultants/OE, suppliers, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Good understanding of civil/structural engineering principles, including reinforced concrete, foundations, structural works, earthworks, roads and drainage

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with structural/civil engineering design software is an advantage

• Good command of English for technical communication, meetings and documentation

• Strong coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Position is based in Bangkok, with occasional travel to project sites as required
