• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, freight forwarders, shipping companies and transport partners.
• Identify market opportunities and emerging trends in heavy cargo business to drive business development initiatives.
• Manage the sales pipeline, prepare quotations and negotiate contracts with clients to secure new business.
• Monitor and analyse competitor activities, market conditions and pricing strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts and performance metrics to senior management.
• Liaise with operational teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations and contractual obligations.
• Attend industry events, conferences and networking functions to promote the company's heavy cargo services.
• Lead and mentor junior sales staff, providing guidance and support to achieve team sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and health and safety standards in all sales activities.
• What we're looking for.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in sales management or business development within the logistics, freight forwarding, or heavy cargo transportation industry.
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
• Demonstrated expertise in heavy cargo logistics, including knowledge of different cargo types, handling procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent understanding of the logistics supply chain and ability to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and manage complex accounts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis.
• Experience in team management and the ability to motivate and develop sales staff.
• Proficiency in English and Thai language (both written and spoken).
• Knowledge of industry software systems, CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Preferred: Experience with customs documentation, export/import regulations or international logistics.
