• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, including Financial Institutions, institutional investors, large local corporates, multinational corporations, and selected Japanese clients.
• Identify business opportunities and generate revenue through treasury, derivatives, and investment products.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers and other sales teams to deepen client penetration and expand wallet share.
• Support the development of new client relationships and contribute to business growth initiatives.
• Solution Origination & Advisory.
• Understand clients' financial objectives, risk exposures, and investment requirements to deliver tailored treasury and derivatives solutions.
• Provide market updates, trading ideas, and risk management strategies to clients.
• Structure and market solutions across FX, Interest Rate Derivatives, Investment Products, Structured Products, and other treasury solutions.
• Support clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, from idea generation and execution to post-trade follow-up.
• Market & Product Expertise.
• Maintain strong knowledge of financial markets, market trends, pricing dynamics, and regulatory developments.
• Monitor market opportunities and provide timely insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Enhance SMBC's market presence through professional advisory services and product expertise.
• Internal Collaboration & Governance.
• Collaborate closely with Trading, Relationship Managers, Risk Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
• Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations, product proposals, and business updates.

• Achieve individual revenue and business development targets.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and actively manage sales activities.
• Contribute to overall team objectives and strategic initiatives led by the Head of Investors & Solutions Sales.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Treasury Sales, Global Markets Sales, Financial Markets, or related functions within a bank or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of treasury and derivatives products, including FX, Interest Rate Products, Investment Products, and Structured Solutions.
• Good understanding of Thailand's financial markets and relevant regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships across Financial Institutions, institutional investors, corporates, or multinational clients.
• Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex financial products and risk management concepts in a clear and client-friendly manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, IC License, Bond Trader License, ACI Dealing Certificate, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Thai. Japanese & Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.
