• Shipping Arrangements: Partner with internal/external teams to help secure vessel bookings and track ocean shipment schedules.
• Vendor Liaison: Act as the local point of contact for freight forwarders and courier services to keep delivery timelines on track.
• Documentation Support: Prepare, verify, and share necessary shipping, customs, and credit/debit paperwork accurately and punctually.
• Customer Care: Answer day-to-day customer inquiries and help resolve or escalate complaints using our standard business processes.
• Compliance Tracking: Keep order workflows properly aligned with our standard import/export guidelines and basic SOX data requirements.
• Finance Alignment: Work closely with the local finance team to follow up on delayed payments and assist in friendly payment reminders to customers.
• Sales Team Support: Provide the sales team with monthly data reports to help them with future demand planning and forecasting.
• Warehouse Quality Assistance: Review photos of damaged shipments sent over by the warehouse team and provide clear guidance on the next steps.
• Stocktake Collaboration: Support the warehouse team during their annual physical stock take to ensure system accuracy and help coordinate routine stock disposals with licensed local vendors.
