• Establish and support data-driven control loop analysis and performance monitoring systems, including Control Performance Management and Alarm Management programs.
• Create static and dynamic process simulations to develop, test, and optimize automation and control concepts.
• Support operator training and validation of Distributed Control System (DCS) programs through simulation environments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging process data, automation technologies, and advanced control methodologies.
• Provide control engineering expertise for automation-related projects, ensuring robust design, successful commissioning, and sustainable operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders to standardize automation concepts and promote best practices across production sites.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships to become a trusted partner for stakeholders across functions and manufacturing environments.
• About you.
• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in automation, process control, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Excellent knowledge of automation and control engineering methods.
• Ability to create static and dynamic process models and simulations for the development and optimization of automation concepts.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering and production plant operations, including awareness of quality and SHE requirements.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including the application of statistical process control and data analysis techniques.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a high level of solution orientation.
• Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Very good English communication skills (B2 level) and proficiency in M365, GenAI, PIMS, and related digital tools.
