- Managing tax compliance, reporting, ensure timely and accurate filings:
- Reviewing monthly tax computations and returns (including VAT, WHT, SD and SBT).
- Preparation of mid-year and annual corporate income tax computations and tax returns for submission to the Revenue Department.
- Reviewing current and deferred tax provisions.
- Managing transfer pricing documentation for intercompany transactions.
- Liaising with tax authorities and providing tax audit support.
- Acting as a key partner to business units and functions to support and provide advice in area of taxes.
- Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters.
- Coordinating ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives locally and regionally.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal tax departments, external tax advisors as well as tax authorities.
- Continuously improve company financial systems, processes and productivity, supporting tax compliance project initiatives, contributing significantly to the change and improvement.
- Monitor Thai tax regulatory changes and advice on impact on the Company's tax policies and practices..
- A self-starter, who is detailed-oriented, resourceful, able to work independently, multi-task and efficiently manage multiple tight deadlines.
- Excellent business focus and able to propose solutions to tax issues after consulting with internal business stakeholders and external and internal tax, legal and financial advisors.
- Good communication skill who can establish close collaboration with internal stakeholder and manage external advisors. Ability to read and write Chinese will be an advantage.
- Pro-active, hands on, enthusiastic and not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo.
- Experience with Ecommerce and tax compliance matters would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Strong international tax knowledge and a professional accounting qualification and willing to be very hands-on.
- Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in Taxation, Accounting, or related fields.
- 8-10 years tax experience in and/or MNC handling international corporate tax, indirect tax and withholding tax compliance.
- Deep familiarity with transfer pricing / corporate income tax, VAT/GST regimes, domestic and international withholding tax, tax compliance requirements, and tax auditspublic accounting firm (Big 4 preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with solid knowledge and experiences on taxation. Transfer pricing experience would be an added advantage.
