As a lead you will be technically responsible for the QA team. You will report to the Head of Software Engineering. In a situation where the Head of Software Engineering position is unoccupied or the Head of Software Engineering is not on duty, you will report directly to the CTO.
Key responsibilities will be to take ownership of the QA process, provide technical leadership to the QA team, assist in extending the team with the right talent and grow our reputation as an expert in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• You will be required to participate in the following meetings:
• Lead the weekly or biweekly QA team meeting
• Attend and contribute to the weekly tech leads meeting with other tech leads, Head of Engineering (and CTO).

Technical leadership and team building:

• Reviewing the decisions the team makes to ensure consistency and alignment with the QA strategy and process
• Knowing team members strengths and weaknesses
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other members of the team
• Take lead in job interviews and help to grow the team

Expertise:

• Keep up to date on related new trends in the QA field
• Help with technical pre-sales
• Help to grow our reputation as an expert in meetings with clients and the industry
• Take ownership of the QA Process and tools used.
• Bridge communication between your team and other teams, such as the design team
• Be an evangelist for QA and represent the QA view in meetings with other teams in the company
• Collaborate with other tech leads to implement an effective testing process including creating a test infrastructure that supports continuous integration and automated testing.
• Advice and assist customers with acceptance testing, training, demos and follow up for production setting of live software products.

QA Execution:

• Writing and maintaining test suites and test plans for 7 Peaks software projects
• Execute test plans for software releases
• Take part of quality assurance during development sprints

Qualifications:

• A degree in computer/technology related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Experience in QA for at least 5+ years
• Thai Nationality
• Excellent ability to understand software requirements and specifications
• Be able to test both functional and technical requirements
• Be thorough and dedicated to quality
• Self-driven with ability to work in a structured and meticulous way without guidance
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong knowledge about best practice software testing methodology and tools
• Be able to identify opportunities for innovation to improve quality
• Strong knowledge about Android and iOS mobile platforms
• Experience in programming is an advantage
• Good English, both oral and written
