Thailand’s largest go-kart and leisure activities company - with several venues in the country - is looking for its Accounting Manager to manage and supervise the group’s Financial Department. The Accounting Manager’s role includes supervising all the department’s financial aspects on a daily-basis, but also determining the proper accounting methods of this developing company to improve and enforce its procedures for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting the financial information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our Managing Director.

Responsibilities:
 To manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:

• month and year-end process
• cash receipts
• general ledger
• tax returns
• payroll and utilities
• accounts payable/receivable
• treasury, budgeting
• bank account statements reconciliation
• fixed assets activity
• debt activity
• inventories

And more generally:

• To review and analyze the accounting data in the financial reports and statements,
• To ensure the company’s compliance with local statutory requirements and accounting policies, financial reporting standards & internal control systems,
• To coordinate and complete the monthly and annual audits as scheduled,
• To liaise and coordinate with financial-related external parties such as tax agents and tax authorities, auditors, financial consultant or others concerning the group and its subsidiaries,
• To provide recommendations and advices to the management team on proper accounting methods, policies and principles required to improve the control procedures, and initiate the corrective actions as decided by the Managing Director,
• To assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy,
• To establish and maintain fiscal files and records documenting the company’s transactions.

Qualifications required:

• Thai national, aged not over 50 years old, with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• More than 10 years of experience at supervisory level such as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Having preferably worked within large retail groups (such as supermarket or convenience stores, F&B chains, department stores, movie theaters, ..) and familiar with online transactions processing (selling products or services over the Internet)
• CPD License
• Ability to lead and supervise a team of accounting staff
• Strong analytical skills
• Leadership skills
• Good command of English in both writing and speaking
