Its all about progress.If youre ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career as a Installation ManagerPurpose of the jobInstallation Manager to coordinate and plan the site activities and support to supervise, install, test and commission the signaling system for the on-board and wayside activities.Key responsibilities1. Planning and Coordination Plan and provide progress update site ITC activities in accordance to the rolling programme and actual site progress.Liaise with customer and other contractors on possession managementManagement and administration of site officePrepare installation procedures, method statements and follow up with submissions and clients commentsCoordinate with partner and sub-contractor(s) undertaking the installation activities.Liaise with procurement and logistics on material deliveries based on the site activities forecasted.Assure sites are properly stocked with installation and test tools while test tools are periodically calibrated per BT standards.Meet with customer and support Project Director with customer meetings.Be able to liaise with other contractor on various interface issues related to the installation works.2. Installation Activities Monitor the site installation activities and supervision of sub-contractors /partner undertaking installation of signaling equipment.Assure quality inspections are performed on material and assemblies.Assure equipment is properly stored prior installation.Ensure sub-contractors quality of work achieves the desirable quality and workmanship level, with proper inspections and audits regularly.Provide NCR and action plan to rectify any anomalies found at site.Record and register installation test records.Work with design team for the evolution of drawings (ie. mark-up, modification sheets, transmittals, as-build drawings) until the completion of installation stage.3. Health, Safety and Environmental Strictly follow the safety rules, regulations and procedures as stated in the safety plan for internal staff and subcontractor(s) working at site.Ensure all activities comply with Company OH&S policies and procedures.Working in a safe manner and notifying management of any areas which safety can be improved.Promote and enforce safety awareness to the team and sub-contractors, by regular safety briefing sessions.Periodic site HSE audits.EducationBachelor's Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Mechanical or related fields or equivilent industry experienceRelevant experience requiredRelevant experience in railway signallign and communications installationThai language speakerQualificationsAbout Bombardier TransportationBombardier Transportation is a global mobility solution provider leading the way with the rail industrys broadest portfolio.
