Front-End Developer
atFirst Class Corporations Co., Ltd.We are looking for a Front-End Developer who is who has worked with Wordpress before as well as able to manage, maintain and develop company's website. You and our team will also be working on continuous integration, suggesting solutions to given problems and working together to improve and grow our websites.
- Managing First Class Corporations' (Bangkok branch) websites
- Maintain and develop the company's websites to be up to date
- Working on making a better UX/UI of the user and admin area (backend)
- Back up, maintain, and security improvement
- Working closely with the online marketing and developing teams to improve and grow the performance of the website and improve functionalities and themes
- Occasionally coordinating with external partners, freelance developers to work on a specific projects
- Coordinating and working closely with cross-functional teams, both in Thailand and with the regional teams in the US and UK to ensure all websites work properly
- 2+ year's experience working with Wordpress platform
- Bachelor's degree (in a relevant field will be a plus)
- Advance knowledge of Wordpress structure
- Able to customize themes and functionalities
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, Ajax, JQuery Responsive and Cross Browser
- Able to setup WordPress, MySQL, Nginx on cloud server (i.e. Amazon EC2 or DigitalOcean) with Linux OS (CentOS, Ubuntu), Themes
- Basic knowledge of server setup and hosting
- UI / UX Sensibility
- Ability to communicate persuasively in English and Thai (written and spoken)
- Self-motivated, creative, and results driven
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and produce work with quick turnarounds
- Ability to coordinate and communicate the projects details clearly with internal teams
- While not required, the following skills/experience will be favorably considered.
- Experience in the travel industry with a passion for creative websites
- Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and HTML
- Ability to travel overseas occasionally for business purposes
- Experience in gulp for automated changes, knowledge of git/bitbucket.
