Database Administrator
atBangkok Insurance Public Co., Ltd. (BKI)- Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, and production usage.
- Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases.
- Performs database administration tasks including with installation, migration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring database usage, performance tuning, and perform other miscellaneous tasks to ensure the system reliability and high availability.
- Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
- Enforces and maintains the database system security policy compliance.
- Provides technical support to application development teams.
- Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Oracle Database Administration area
- Having experience in Microsoft SQL Server will be more advantage
- Good understanding in Oracle Database architecture and database objects (tables, view and package)
- Having experience in Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Forms and Reports Server. Knowledge in WebSphere will be more advantage
- Having experiences in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Able to detect and troubleshoot Oracle Database and Oracle Forms and Reports Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and the other resource issue
