Minimum Experience Senior Manager/Supervisor

Primal is looking for an experienced SEO Technical Director to step into our Organic Search department in a leadership position. SEO is one of our best performing channels in the agency, and we are looking for an experienced individual to take it to the next level. You’ll be managing and growing a team with an unlimited scope of autonomy in our fast-growing startup environment!

Your Role           

• Lead and grow a team of SEO specialists to deliver world-class campaigns and results
• Ability to manage enterprise level SEO campaigns
• Work cross-functionally with department heads to uplift process, campaign standards and trainings for Primal’s clients
• Actively be the point of contact for client escalations and issues
• Drive performance across campaigns, department and product growth
• Be involved in hiring and retaining talent
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of SEO best practices and continuous learning to grow Primal’s reputation as a leading SEO provider
• Work closely with the leadership team to develop new company initiatives for performance, innovation and company growth and scale

• Start to get a reputation i.e. clients actively seeking Primal for SEO / SEM pitches.

Your Profile

• 3-7 years agency-side, brand-side or start-up experience.
• Deeply understand SEO metrics and levers for success as well as find opportunities and risks
• Expert knowledge of SEO best practices and recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
• Experience of working on large scale websites (ie 1 million pages and up)
• Develop and implement link building strategies and off-page optimisation strategies
• Strong Technical SEO knowledge including both on-page and off-page SEO
• Proven leader who is comfortable managing and scaling a team for growth
• Highly analytical with a strong understanding of performance metrics as related to SEO
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and display great presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
