PeerPower is seeking a Finance Manager to drive our insights-to-execution efforts as we disrupt the financial services space in the region. At the heart of our mission is to enable SME Digital Credit across South East Asia.

What will you do at PeerPower?

• Take a lead role in providing technical guidance across the business on accounting policies interpretation and application

• Ensure statutory requirements relating to financial statements and tax filings are met accurately and on time

• Integrate and digitialise bookkeeping and financial management systems (FMS) for PeerPower and its subsidiaries

• Drive timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing

• Budgeting and cash management (working extensively with business leads), monitor overhead spending and cost control i.e., review cost comparison to budget

• Identify opportunities and drive projects to improve business processes and support

• Preparing Board Level value-add analysis and insights

Are we right for each other?

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management or related disciplines

• Certified CPA preferred

• Experience working in financial services / payments. Experience with financial compliance is a plus

• Detail oriented with excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills

• Able to be proactive in solving problems and developing creative solutions

• Able to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change

• Ability to work within tight timeframes
