Food Merchandiser (Chinese Speaking)

  • Working closely with French Buyers for PD, purchasing plan
  • Sourcing food products into the channel of retail industrial business
  • Negotiating in term of commercial process and contract
  • Coordinating with the quality department for controlling the standard of the suppliers to produce and deliver goods under technical specification requirement
  • Manages the sampling and product approval process for the project plans, directs, and coordinates the work activities and resources from manufacturing products in accordance with cost, and specification
  • Manages new product consulting and the product approval processes
  • Co-ordinate between buyers and supplier for the most effectiveness of the show in order to be on time
  • Manage the file of purchase order, contracts detail
  • Explore sources opportunities and potential in long-term
  • Order track and follow up shipment
  • Analyzing product information and present the report
  • Explore sourcing opportunities and potential long-term options.
  • Set up new suppliers and keep current portfolio up-to-date in the system.
  • Analyze market trends and suppliers capacities.
  • Ensure good traceability of all purchases at all times.
  • Report performance as per Management requirements.
  • Male or female, age not over 30 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, or Business Administration and MBA is a plus
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in buyer, merchandiser or marketing coordinator in Food business
  • To be able to travel on upcountry and aboard
  • Good decision making skill
  • Good communication and persuasive skills, both written & verbal
  • Initiative and a creative approach to solving problems
  • Experience in Retail Business (FMCG, Foods)
  • Excellent in English and Chinese speaking, reading, and writing
  • To be able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem- solving skill
