What's your role in the team?

We are looking for a Logistics Manager who wants to understand how an ecommerce fashion brand works and creates a digital experience for its customers. Are you the kind of person who enjoys managing a complex regional logistics network? Proficient in supply chain mgmt., data analysis and Excel? We are looking for talent to join our team.

You will be leading the Logistics vertical regionally as well as work seamlessly within Operations. At Pomelo, each team member is expected to work autonomously, often setting their own objectives and key results.

• Leading the regional logistics functions and overseeing all x-border & in-country distributions, fulfillment and returns in terms of strategy & 3PL mgmt. to achieve fastest speed consistently with optimal costs.
• Building & managing the team effectively to achieve top-in-class regional e-commerce & Direct-2-Retail (D2R) logistics performance.
• Develop & drive 3PL Scorecard and Monthly Business Review (MBR) across all logistics partners to consistently evaluate & engage them in aspects of Costs, Performance, Responsiveness, Accuracy & Technology.
• Establish & maintain wide logistics contacts to continuously explore potential new logistics partners.
• Managing Pomelo's regional logistics network and continuously evolve the landscape to create competitive advantage.
• Strategize & improve regional logistics model to achieve the best solution in duty & taxes reduction.
• Leading the set-up of Pomelo fleet to increase the cost efficiency and delivery flexibility to Pomelo offline touchpoints.
• Set-up frameworks & metrics to monitor all logistics performance to maintain high level of service quality, shortest lead-time and best customer experience.
• Proficiently analyzing data, formulate insights and improvement plans.
• Work with cross functional teams to optimize end-to-end processes for both online and retail stores.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor degree in operations management, engineering, supply chain or logistics
• At least 5 yrs in Logistics & Supply Chain field, preferably in both B2B and B2C.
• Experienced in managing a team (including remote team members)
• Wide knowledge in 3PL mgmt., x-border logistics, customs clearance and duty & taxes.
• Exposed to pick-up and drop-off solutions in SEA countries.
• Matured in situational management with multiple stakeholders.
• Tactical in influencing & managing logistics partners.
• Extremely data driven with strong analytical skill
• High proficiency in Excel, SQL skill is a plus
• Self-motivated, independent, multi-tasker, energetic & adapt well in a fast-paced startup culture.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to try different things and think out of the box
