Your Role
Provide leadership and guidance to managers and employees on ENVIRONMENTAL issues with focus on SUSTAINABILITY initiatives to reach the organization target to be CARBON NEUTRAL BY 2030 and keeps close monitoring of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. The position will also be responsible for maintaining regional EHS METRICS, developing EHS Programs and Policies, creation of Corporate and Facility Training, and assist in the identification/ reduction/ elimination of risks.
Work closely with BA-APMEA logistics organizations in different countries to assure the SERVICE QUALITY within our LOGISTICS PROCESS by complying with Customer Requirements, Process Specifications, and our Logistics Quality Standard.
Foster our Zero-Defect Quality Standard within organization, which means non tolerance to defects and the thrive to eliminate variance and minimize non-value adding activities within our processes.
Assuring the application of the Electrolux Lean tools, techniques, principles and to drive Process Improvement within our Logistics Operations
A Typical Day
QUALITY process improvement:
Ensure the quality of all the activities in logistics flows - handling, storage, transportation, etc. define rules and quality standards to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
Damage tracking and reduction (primary, secondary, and warehousing damages), Customers returns & complaints analysis
3PL / external suppliers audit/ operational improvements
Providing technological development in the handling, packaging, automation for loading/unloading and transports
Improvement opportunities, Work closely with OEM suppliers on new ways of loading, packaging improvement
Working closely with Quality / R&D in improvement projects i.e packaging improvement, stackability increase, ..etc.) that support B-grade and scrapping reduction in countries.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
Foster safe working Environment and manage related safety reporting.
Establishes and promotes a healthy work environment
Work closely with logistics safety managers in countries to ensure the implementation of safety management system, process risk assessment, Ergonomics in workplace, STOP program, ISO 45001 and related systems to sustain safety performance.
ENVIRONMENT:
Explore new idea to control warehouses energy consumption, moving to renewable energy and reduce CO2 emission
Lead the implementation of the new sustainability projects to reduce transportation CO2 across BA (consolidation, trucks utilization, Biofuel, electric trucks, carriers score card,etc.)
Initiate waste management process and support Zero landfill program implementation
Reporting & BI analytics:
Responsible for monthly BA reporting.
Responsible for working with BI team to develop and automate reporting process where possible.
In this role, you will be dealing with Electrolux's Internal customers and External customers You should be confident in dealing with leaders both from a country & regional level perspective.
