Job description
We want to fill this vacant position with a leader who is capable in setting up and supporting, together with the store management team, a new +/-200 staff organization. You will create an environment where the IKEA culture & values is a strong and living reality, and through working as one Bangkok Market Area (MMA).
IKEA Sukhumvit will be our 4th store in Thailand and part of The Emsphere retail development on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok.
- Be a strong contributor to the store management team, lead the unit HR team, secure HR subject matter expertise, process HR operations matters and ensure that the people strategies are locally translated into action in the most effective and efficient way.
- You support and guide in the recruitment and introduction process. You use the People strategy framework and work towards attracting and retaining people.
- You ensure that we follow national legislation, regulations and valid labour agreements.
- You ensure that the store has a systematic approach to learning and development.
- You support managers in the development talk/performance appraisals process.
- You are responsible in making sure that the salary reviews processes are handled in a structured and professional way and staff cost are in line with targets and budgets.
- Together with the store management team secure an up to-date succession process and plan by influencing the manages in taking the lead with special focus on talents and high performing potentials.
- You are also responsible to ensure uses of HR data to enable better management of all human resource related processes, payroll accuracy and timely, timekeeping and attendance and staff planning works in a timely and efficient way.
- You have relevant working experience in Human Resource Management and business partnering.
- You are well versed in the local laws and regulations, constantly keeping yourself updated of the labour market trends and best practices.
- Business-minded, you have experience in building the competence dimension as well as leading strategic HR assignments.
- You excel in building strong working relationships in a matrix set-up with high level of integrity.
- Understand and buy into company culture and values.
- Passionate about the growth and development of people, you have the ability to communicate, influence and create an environment where the IKEA values are a strong and living reality that embraces diversity of co-workers and customers.
- You are fluent in Thai with good command of the English language.
