Junior Colorist/ Textile Chemical (6 months contract)
ที่VF Asia Limited- Vietnam Representative Office- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate Spectrophotometer and measure all color submissions.
- Responsible for calibration and maintenance of all Spectrophotometers.
- Daily administrative tasks including data entry and filing of color standards.
- Support Color Analyst to review subsequent bulk lots and preview lab dips, sales samples, 1st bulk and trims in light box.
- Ensure color consistency and continuity subsequent bulk lots.
- Support Color Analyst in visual judgment against spectral data, interpret data from Spectrophotometer as supplementary tools.
- Communicate with suppliers and merchandising team to provide coordination.
- Keep track submit status with suppliers to ensure all colors are approved on schedule before shipment.
- Assist Color Analyst to create color story book for approved lab dip, 1st bulk and subsequent bulk lots.
- Requirements:
- University / Polytechnic / IVE graduate in Textile / Chemistry or related disciplines.
- Minimum 1 year experience in color or dyeing mill.
- General knowledge of color physic and fabric properties.
- Familiar with Spectrophotometer, formal training / obtain certificate from Datacolor or GretagMacbeth (X-rite) is an advantage.
- Having good color vision and sense, attain superior level in Farnsworth-Munsell 100-Hue Test.
- Good team player and able to work independently; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good in English and Chinese.
