Type of Work: Bangkok Residence / Myanmar resident during CCPP construction

Job Purpose

Engineer, Project Support is responsible for planning and execution of construction combined cycle power plant (CCPP) and 230kV transmission line projects in Myanmar during EPC tendering until Commercial Operations Date (COD).. The job holder interfaces, coordinates, and manages stakeholders to ensure that the projects meet agreed targets and deliverables in timely manner and within the approved budget.

Key Accountabilities (1)

• Define project plans, work programs and budgets, and project strategies in compliance with the Company's policy and objectives
• Coordinate with Owner's Engineers in preparing the material specifications, procurement process, drawing package, bid package, evaluation process, and evaluation report document.
• Coordinate with environmental team in preparation the EIA/IEE report for CCPP and 230kV transmission line.
• Coordinate with business development and commercial team in preparation the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
• Coordinate with procurement & contract, legal and financial teams in preparation the EPC tendering document. Perform EPC tendering process according to Company regulation.
• Manage owner's engineers, EPC Contractor and all stakeholders to execute projects and ensure that the projects' performance in terms of technical quality, work progress, and cost control are aligned with the defined strategies and approved plans.

Key Accountabilities (2)

• Responsible for coordination and communication with stakeholders during project executing.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential and actual problems and also prevent and manage risks. Monitor and resolve relevant project management issues, queries, deviations, and discrepancies.
• Provide technical advice/ solution upon request during the construction and commissioning phases.
• Ensure the proper administration and follow-up of the project's documentations e.g. Engineering document/ drawings, Vendor documentation, Change Order Request, Technical Query (TQ) etc. Generate corrective actions when required.
• Keep abreast of developments in the area of project management. Liaise with relevant departments to ensure the smooth operations within due time.
• Promote the implementation and adherence to the Company's SSHE rules and regulations.

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering of any related fields
• 10 year experiences or strong discipline background in CCPP project development and/ or design projects.
• Working experience as owner's engineer or managing owner's engineer for 2 CCPP project development.
• Good command of both written and spoken English. (TOEIC Score Requirement: 750)
• Good team working, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Be able to work abroad.
