Role and Responsibilities

Job Description

• Source and develop competitive electronics component suppliers for Samsung Electronics applications such TV, Mobile phone, Home appliances, computer etc.
• Drive cost down, control cost efficiency to ensure that total cost is competitiveness
• Organize Sourcing seminars , conduct supplier meetings and create supplier database
• Source and introduce new technology for development
• Conduct supplier plant audits and assess supplier capabilities
• Gather information on market trends, supplier and economy information, etc.
• This position is required to travel domestic and overseas to conduct sourcing, auditing & purchasing related issues

Skills and Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management, International Business, Logistics, Stat or any related field
• Management with at least 3-5 years of sourcing experience which preferable from multinational company or consumer electronics business
• Familiar with electronic component suppliers and market in Thailand
• Good technical knowledge of electronic components and consumer electronics products
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
• Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills
• Strong in supplier sourcing, technical aptitude, and negotiation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work in cross-cultural/function teams
• Able to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced and demanding environment
• Good written and verbal English communication skills, presentation skills, and negotiation skills
