The company are looking to streamline best practice and design principles across all their products and the Head of UX/UI will have the responsibility of driving future direction in terms of design, design research and user testing.

• Establish a set of principles for design best practice within the organisation.
• Understand ways of improving research practices and gathering user's thoughts and feedback.
• Work with senior stakeholders to establish a roadmap and plan the future direction of the UX and design function. Understanding whether to have design teams per product or whether a centralised design function would best fit business needs.
• Build brilliant relationships with 3rd party agencies when needed for design work. Ensure design agencies understand the core brand and guidelines.
• Take the lead of design of core products within the business implementing your own principles to create brilliant designs.
• Help build a UX community within the business and a hub for sharing knowledge and improving quality of design across the organisation.
• Work closely with Product teams to understand where products can be improved and where look, feel and user journey can be improved.
• Run workshops for research and discovery purposes.
• Take a mobile-first approach to design

• Experience in managing UX and UI design from inception of products through to delivery.
• Proven experience in implementing successful changes in terms of design best practice.
• Experience managing user testing and research groups, understanding how important user and customer feedback is to product design and improvement.
• Understanding modern UX and UI design principles and help implement these into current design work.
• Understand and have used various research methods.
• Be an excellent team player, understanding what gets the best out of individual designers and creating a style that can assist in producing top quality UX/UI across the business's products
• Experienced working across multiple Products simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of Agile methodology.
