Job Description
As a Business Analyst within the Pandora Manufacturing Technology Innovation team, you will be responsible for the analysis in business portfolio, processes, technology within Innovation & Product Development and back office application platforms.
You will act as the connector between functional needs and technology ensuring that we are always working on the things that creates value for our consumers and the business.
This also includes delivery of our new Digital Strategy and Crafting & Supply Strategy 2026 and the ambition of creating the SMART factory and Data-driven organization. Business Analyst will work together with Innovation & Product Development and back office teams (FM, HR, Finance) including the collaboration with other functional teams to establish a new agile delivery engine to cross-functionally realize the strategic ambitions.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Create features / user stories with relevant acceptance criteria, scenarios, and estimating business value and technical requirements of product backlog items
- Support Product Manager in developing and maintaining product backlog / required business capabilities including identifying capabilities, improvement opportunities
- Engage with all stakeholders (business, technical team, product owner) to make sure that there is no gap at any level, prepare BA artefacts including process maps, design flow, specifications, and wireframes
- Develop solution options, high level solution design and solution components and explore potential technical solutions with team
- Help to translate business strategy into technical requirements for development team (i.e., technical translation of product backlog items) with the focus on process optimization
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in the product, processes and apply to the development, execution, and implementation
- Review business processes from end-to-end perspective and address operational, financial, and technological risks
- Identify and deliver process improvement solutions across complex, technical, and cross-functional processes
- Drive development of product features and ensure that the development team is working on items that will deliver the most significant customer and business value
- Work with the product owners and other stakeholders to ensure appropriately refined features according to 'definition of ready' as well as 'definition of done'
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Development team and Solution Architects to create a holistic backlog and architectural runway also encompassing technical enablers, non-functional requirements, and improvements to ways of working
- Support Product Managers to facilitate key events and orchestrate the deliver with delivery manager including participating in sprint planning, sprint review, product demos, and sprint retrospective, etc.
- Work with transformation and relentless improvement towards a more agile operating model creating faster time to market, better quality, and more efficiency
What is needed to succeed
- 4+ years of Business Analysis experience with agile mindset through applying the agile principles of business analysis to the outcomes, while leveraging the agile manifesto for the work
- Experience on manufacturing and/or back office application/platform implementation for manufacturing as a mandatory (preferable in HR and Finance areas)
- Client-facing skills, including the ability to analyse complex problems, influence and negotiate with customers
- Independent, proactive, and structured. Ability to ensure progress and commitment to deadlines
- Ability to create and clearly communicate the product vision and backlog to both stakeholders and team members
- Understand technology platforms, trends and can activate technical expertise in the organization
- Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
- Business acumen and politically astute, ability to act with diplomacy and sensitivity to cultural diversity
- Combination of strategic and analytical insights with a passion for technology
- Professional Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP) would be an advantage
- Experience on manufacturing ERP would be an advantage
