Manager, Category Management Production Supply & Tooling

Responsibilities;
Responsible on Production Supply and Tooling category including Tooling, Supply Production, Safety, Plating Supply and etc. as part of Indirect Category team and detail are,
  • Lead, supervise, and execute product development phase relating to procurement activities
  • Lead, supervise, and execute category plan, category strategy, sourcing and category management activities.
  • Conduct contract and commercial negotiation
  • Execute contract with completed contracting process and compliance
  • Develop strong relationships with supplier and partners and manage supplier relationships and performance for Production Supply & tooling category
  • Collaborate effectively with related stakeholders to ensure supply on time with quality
  • Monitor supplier compliance of Production Supply & tooling category
  • Drive supplier assessment and collaborate effectively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure stringent standards
  • Drive cost savings of spend per supplier
  • Provide inputs regarding local practice and limitation; ensure contract comply to local regulations to Plant Head
  • Ensure effective end-to-end category management activities of Production Supply & tooling, including:
  • Set strategic direction and performing market research/benchmarking on suppliers with input from Production team and other relevant stakeholders
  • Gather market intelligence on upcoming trends and changes
  • Conduct sourcing activities: identifying new raw materials based on requirements from I&PD, supporting I&PD in new material initiatives from new drop or improvement, offering existing supply catalogue, executing the RFP, evaluating competitive bids, and negotiating with suppliers and develop selection criteria that covers requirements from users
  • Negotiate and create draft contract based on master contract template and consult with Legal in case of deviation from master template
  • Coordinate with Legal in case of deviation from contracts to seek legal support and approval
  • Create and maintain supplier master data and participate in relevant governance forum as needed
  • Liaise with I&PD to place an order for existing materials by checking MRP and collaborate with Materials management or place order for new materials with Purchasing
  • Manage materials, supplier performance and evaluation with input from users (e.g. Materials Management, Procure to Pay, Production etc.) against agreed contract SLA and analyze data to strive for improvements
  • Coordinate with I&PD, Manufacturing Quality and other relevant stakeholders Quality in managing samples for new product or new supplier development and testing
  • Provide input to Legal to amend master contract and SOPs per changing regulations, ways of working, business risks
  • Continuously improve supplier assessment criteria and guidelines while working in close collaboration with various teams in PPT including Risks, Quality Assurance, Finance, Materials Management, Contract Manufacturing, Sustainability, etc.
  • Monitor own performance and address gaps/improvement opportunities
  • Lead time and work with Spend Analytic to conduct risk, cost-scenarios, pricing analysis and Market Intelligent update & trends for Production Supply & tooling category, share and collaborate with SCM Excellence
  • Work with Spend Analytic to recommend, initiate and implement cost-improvement measures based-on analysis, share and collaborate with SCM Excellence
  • Provide input to Legal to create master supplier / service provider contracts included all important clauses (e.g. delivery, payments, governance law, etc.) and customize contracts to accommodate specific requirements
Qualifications;
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or related fields.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of demonstrated Supply Chain experience (of which minimum 5 years in managerial roles)
  • Strong knowledge of complex end to end Supply Chain processes
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Good English communication and self-confident
  • Good skill to Microsoft Office, Excel in advance most preferred
  • Drive the solution to most complex business problems
  • Possess the strategic perspective and create sustained results for Pandora (financial, non-financial)
  • Demonstrate ability to make hard decisions, making the right trade-offs
  • Effectively plan and efficiently deliver exceptional work while handling both volume and complexity
  • Is an inspirational leader; practices genuine humility and places the team above their own interests
  • Is self-motivated and hungry enough to work hard; willing to change
  • Is smart about other people; has an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and run own team of future leaders
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; interact effectively with the organization
