What you will do

• Act as a focal point regarding HR matters among Mitr Phol Group's operation abroad (China, Australia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore).
• Develop, implement HR policies and strategies to support overseas expansion (such as expat assignment policy, expat package/ perks, tax equalization).
• Liaise with local HR teams to ensure smoothness of operations.
• Carry out remuneration survey and benchmarking to ensure expat salary competitiveness.
• Define positions required for overseas assignment, and their career management.
• Prepare/ update general information such as country, culture, customs, protocols, rules & regulations; and then educate assignees of such information to ensure smooth on-boarding.
• Stay abreast of local labor laws, regulations, and advise management of appropriate actions.
• Support in obtaining visa/ work permit and prepare formalities required for assignees to work abroad.
• Support assignees in settling in, monitor their well-being, and safety.
• Supervise HR Overseas team.

What you need to have

• More than 10 years of work experience in HR function from medium to large-sized organizations.
• Prior experience in HR overseas role, as well as mobility and cross cultural management are compulsory.
• Knowledge of local labor laws is highly desirable.
• Hands-on, strong leadership, possess high level of business professionalism, good leadership and decision making skills.
• Strong sense of entrepreneurship, business-oriented.
• Available for business travel when required.
• Very good command of English. A third language is not must, but a plus (Mandarin, Bahasa, Vietnamese).
