Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer facing role working in a professional services or systems engineering team.
  • Experience with SAP technologies, architecture, and infrastructure needs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or other technical field.
  • Experience in major aspects of cloud computing across Enterprise technology and Open Source, including compute, storage, data analytics and Machine Learning.
  • Experience in, and understanding of, data and information management, especially as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
  • Understanding of SAP cloud offerings such as RISE/PCE, SAP BTP and SAP SaaS products.

In this role, you'll identify and parse industry trends that focus on SAP to recommend, plan for, and address core market opportunities with new solutions and use cases for positioning to customers. Finally, you will enable the sales team and counsel partners on the best way to position SAP on Google Cloud solutions, explain technical features, and problem-solve potential roadblocks on Google Cloud.
