The Role Responsibilities


Financial

Deliver superior financial performance

  • Deliver CCIB budget and scorecard metrics
  • Deliver own Budget per agreed scorecard (refer to individual scorecard)
  • Build deal pipelines and progressing them as planned on sales stage.
  • Improve efficiency by migrating to digitized/automated process on E2E including from client->bank, internal process, bank->client
  • Take ownership of a select number of clients and own and deliver target revenues for these clients.
  • Manage clients in conjunction with RM to ensure portfolio strategy across clients/products in country maximise returns for the Group and the Group CIB strategy is implemented in country taking into consideration local requirements.


Risk Management

  • Ensure that all audit and compliance findings are resolved in a timely manner to encourage the continual improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Client complaints and negative feedback are managed effectively.
  • Ensure business meeting has the correct focus on risks.


Continuously improve the way we work

  • Improve efficiency by migrating to digitized/automated process on E2E including from client->bank, internal process, bank->client
  • Drive alignment between client segments, sales, & product with close collaboration reflected in account planning and its delivery.
  • Drive cross functions/country initiatives such as supply chain
  • Work with functional partners to continually improve the efficiency and the control environment for business/country.
  • Focus on robust and scaleable global platforms and embedding global standards for processes and controls across the business.
  • Drive change in a timely manner and ensure improvements are communicated appropriately. Accelerate digitisation agenda, including increasing the number of clients using e-channels.


Delivery of strategic workstream

  • Ensure business carried out is in line with CIB strategy.
  • Position the bank with clients as experts in Country and AAME.


Culture, Conduct and Behaviour

  • Lead by example and set an appropriate tone about required standards of conduct and management of operational effectiveness
  • Become a catalyst for change - review, challenge and improve existing processes and practises to help transform the CIB organisation to a high performing outfit
  • Maintain professional interactions with stakeholders and highlight potential conduct and behaviour issues in a fair, open, transparent and timely manner
  • Ensure all mandatory e-learnings are completed on time
