Assistant Accounting Manager
ที่ชาเนล (ประเทศไทย)Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting side
- Assist in implementing proper governance /internal control procedures in local countries
- Coordinate & perform local stock count, physical asset audit & disposal of assets
- Support Finance Manager to create an on-going efficiency improvement culture and drive business service team to provide exceptional best service to the country
- Liaise with external auditor & ensure to meet local statutory requirements
- Coordinate with Finance business service & other local stakeholders in AR/AP/GL or any other financial accounting areas
- Handle local specific procedures to comply with local regulatory requirements
- Assist Finance Manager to handle enquiry from local business, regional & global about the actual financial data/reports (partner with local business finance), diagnose the problem and give advice to local business
Tax related
- Liaise with external service providers (e.g. VAT service provider, local tax advisor, etc.)
- Assist Finance Manager to handle any tax enquiry with the help of Tax CoE
- Work closely with Tax CoE for creating CIT calculation and submission template
- Assist in preparing/reviewing CIT, VAT, WHT and TP calculation
- Assist in CIT, VAT, WHT and TP filing include handling tax treatment exception
Treasury related
- Liaise with banks for operation support
- Coordinate with Regional Treasury on cash and banks related topics
Others
- Assist Finance Manager to lead & drive other projects/assignments that can help the financial health of business (e.g. indirect procurement, preventative controls or risk management, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- CPA/CA/ICAA is a plus
- Knowledge of Tax rules and regulations is a plus
- Minimum 6 years working experience
- Proven work experience (3-5 years) in finance and accounting fields.
- All round solid expertise in financial accounting & reporting and understanding of market specificities.
- Able to articulate and possess demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong interpersonal effectiveness, positive and passion for result/achievement.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to see both the big picture and the details
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Strong customer service orientation
- High personal integrity, multi-tasking, and flexible approach to work.
