Management Assistant to IT Director APAC

• Accountable for the construction of a project organisation in Asia Pacific as part of the global project organisation of Rhenus Freight Logistics.
• Facilitating the usage of SCRUM in agile software delivery teams in Asia Pacific.
• Coaching project managers in relevant frameworks such as PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile and SCRUM.
• Furthermore responsible for project reporting (IT projects, IT support accuracy, project settlement etc.)
• Accountable for the optimisation of the value stream in the IT organisation of Asia Pacific
• Ensuring that all project managers are well trained, understood the global pm methodology and behave like project managers in their daily work
• Ensuring that the RA1 development team is following the SCRUM framework
• Ensuring transparency in cross-departmental and cross-functional project teams in Asia Pacific by facilitating the global pm methodology
• Improving the collaboration of affected stakeholders in Asia Pacific to facilitate change management
• Accountable for the buildup of a related reporting to allow firm decisions for the top management

Consulted regarding

• Any change in the global pm methodology respectively to give input in order to improve it
• Any training with regards to project management and software development (SCRUM) in terms of frameworks but also to support junior project managers in applying the frameworks
• Supporting top management decisions based on a firm reporting for the project portfolio and the IT landscape in Asia Pacific

• Changes in delivery models in the global project management organization of Rhenus Freight Logistics (agile software development, agile project management, agile enterprise)
• Best practice sharing with the European organization due to close connection with relevant stakeholders

• Facilitate the usage of SCRUM in software development for the RA1 team located in Bangkok, Thailand
• Ensuring that the RA1 team follows the SCRUM framework
• Facilitate the buildup of an Asian project organization as part of the global project organization in Rhenus Freight Logistics
• Coaching IT project managers in the Rhenus project management approach, PRINCE2 Agile, SCRUM and necessary soft skills
• Monitoring and controlling the IT project landscape in Asia Pacific
• Facilitating transparency in all areas of the APAC IT organisation by setting up reporting and related procedures for topics such as project reporting, IT support reporting, project controlling etc.
