Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Design & Build websites using  WordPress theme and page builder.
• Create custom sections and features outside the capability of page builder, using pure HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Overcome technical challenges by conducting research and testing various solutions
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
• Regularly back up, update security, and monitor website downtimes.
• Communicate clearly with the team using internal notes, video calls, and tasks management software
• Attend meetings with an account executive and suggest solutions.
• Regular team meetings with the goal of improving team standards, communication, and operations
• Review colleagues’ work

Competencies

1) Knowledge & experiences on web development e.g. Wordpress, PHP, Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, XHTML, Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, Woo Commerce, Big Commerce Magento, OpenCart, ZenCart, also integration of CRM solutions and Payment & Gateways.

2) Knowledge & experiences UX, UI

3) Website optimization; speed, responsiveness, and fixing errors are reported by, Google page speed, Google search console such as;

   a. site error

   e. HTML errors
