Job summary:

As a external business incubation manager, he/she will play a critical role in helping SCG Packaging to generate new revenue streams and to transform core business by externally scouting for startups and technology firms, developing business models/collaboration plans, and executing initiatives that are strategically aligned with SCG Packaging priority. This position offers the opportunity to play a leadership role in these activities by closely supporting BU leaders across the full cycle of execution through collaborations with startups and technology firms. If there is any POC workable, you will take role as Entrepreneur-In-Residence to further verify the business model, for example; be a representative of SCGP to work in JV company as targeted milestone in JVA.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities aligned with areas of strategic interest
• Scout startups and technology firms and select the appropriate partners
• Develop business models/collaboration plans and execute the initiatives
• Work with Business Unit leaders to transform core business through engaging with appropriate partners
• Build strong network and relationship with key players in Technology and Digital ecosystem
• Able to work as Entrepreneur-In-Residence in startup way with oriented and agile mindset

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration, Management, Econnomics, MBA or other related fields (Bachelor G.P.A. > 2.70, Master G.P.A. > 3.30)
• Fluent in English ( Toeic score at least 700)
• At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in business development, merger and partnership, start-ups, incubator or incubation consultancy
• Strategic thinker with business judgment
• Demonstrate ability to learn new technical concepts & solution quickly
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at high levels in the organization
• Project management skills for multiple initiatives & Can work under pressure
• Relationship management skills with both internals & externals
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Flexibility and responsiveness
• Result Oriented and Agile mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Able to travel overseas as assigneed
