Delivering Deal Value
A career within Delivering Deal Value will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and other complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas.
Job Description & Summary
Line of Service: Deals
We help clients do better deals and create value through mergers, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring. We work with clients to help them develop the right strategy before a deal, execute their deals seamlessly, identify issues and points of negotiation and value, and implement changes to deliver synergies and improvements after the deal.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist and advise clients on how to manage the financial reporting process, including maintenance of the general ledger system;
Assist and advise clients on how to Prepare IFRS financial statements and monthly financial reports;
Assist And advise on the process for Preparation of annual budgets and monitor variances;
Alignment if accounting policies and finance accounting procedures;
Design of accounting and finance functions, including role and responsibilities and organization of the accounting department
Assist in the development, implementation and adherence of relevant financial policies and controls;
Assist in the design of the financial analysis and business intelligence reports for management
Maintain strong internal control procedures related to financial reporting and ensure compliance with internal policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
Member of a recognised accounting body such as CPA, preferred, but not required
Experience in M&A is a plus, but not required
A minimum of 7 years' experience, with similar professional accounting experience within the International environment;
Strong and current knowledge of IFRS and in particular, its application for investments;
Proven organizational and analytical skills, ability to work independently and think critically, and a strong sense of attention to detail are essential;
Experience managing and coaching direct reports and other team members;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills;
